As Learning & Engagement Officer at Lakeland Arts, I ran weekly workshops with Manna House women's group. Manna House supports people who are socially isolated and vulnerably housed.

After meeting weekly at Manna House for almost two years, I started leading monthly 'Sit & Stitch' sessions at Abbot Hall Art Gallery. We started with a cup of tea in the café and then spent an hour chatting and stitching in the gallery. Participants enjoyed time together being creative and exploring artworks in a hands-on way. We would often replicate and discuss artworks on display, which invited creative and personal responses.
